During that time alone, when I went to bed, I’d obviously take the dogs with me and lock the bedroom door and sleep with the tv on. That night, I fell asleep with the light on next to my bed while scrolling through my phone. I fell into a dream like state but it didn’t feel like a dream. In that quick dream, or maybe it was a premonition, I was exactly where I was on the bed, the room was exactly how it was in reality, my dogs were exactly where they were when I unknowingly fell asleep, everything was exactly how it was when all of a sudden the bedroom door shot wide open for me to only see the dark hallway. The next thing I remember is jolting awake and screaming. The dogs were still on the bed and were startled only by me. I didn’t even know why I was screaming until I looked at the closed bedroom door and suddenly remembered what I just dreamt about. I was so fucking spooked, all I could do was turn the tv on, snuggle the dogs tight, and hope I didn’t have anything more happen. I eventually fell asleep.

I honestly don’t know how I survived living in that house alone after that. It had only been a few days after the Remember going places that was awesome Chris Farley shirt But I will love this driveway incident, and I still had another 3 weeks to go before I had my boyfriend back home. I’ve experienced several creepy things at my parents house before moving out to live with my boyfriend, such as beds shaking and weird voices, but nothing really compared to what I experienced during that time of living alone in a big house. The feeling of vulnerability when you’re scared like that only adds to the fright factor. I never had a dream/premonition like that since. So we went back to the front desk and informed a manager about that. The woman who we talked to went in the room and called out for someone. No one was in there at the time- but she found out for us that they had been sent to our room by mistake. Since they were already settled and every other room was taken- we were sent to stay in a cabin out in the woods since that was still available.
